Join us in supporting the Foundation’s many endeavors.

The Federal Bar Foundation is committed to fostering a strong, informed, and connected legal community and to supporting important Second-Circuit based projects and initiatives. The Foundation also supports the work of the Federal Bar Council and last year supported several new initiatives and projects – most notably the Second Circuit’s civics education programming.

A snapshot of what your donation helps fund:

  • The Second Circuit’s civics education programming through our Robert A. Katzmann Civics Education Grant, which will provide support for school participation in Law Week activities, fund the increasingly-popular Summer Teacher’s Institute, and sponsor civics education summer camps in the SDNY and EDNY. This year, the summer camp program will expand to include the District of Connecticut.
  •
  • Courthouse visits for school groups through the Justice Resource Center (which continued to operate virtually during the pandemic), annually serving over 1,000 NYC students.

  • The Immigrant Justice Corps, which remains the country’s first and only fellowship program dedicated to meeting the need for high-quality legal assistance for immigrants.

  • The development of future leaders in the profession through our U.S. Attorney’s Office Internship Fund and Federal Defenders Office Internship Fund.

  • Exclusive CLE programming – always free for FBC members.

Membership dues cover only a fraction of Federal Bar Council expenses. We know that as a member, you care about a strong, informed, and connected legal community. The Federal Bar Foundation relies on your involvement and the involvement of the greater legal community to continue our work.

Thank you in advance for your support.
