I am delighted to share the news that we have launched the new Federal Bar Council website and member portal today. Consistent with the goals outlined in our Strategic Plan, our aim was to refresh the Council’s digital presence and brand and we are proud to share with you the new look and feel of the Council’s online presence. Our web address remains the same – www.federalbarcouncil.com. We are rolling out the new website in two phases, with phase two providing more functionality and integration with our member portal. Phase two will launch next month, so stay tuned for further updates.
The Council’s member portal is the avenue for registering for CLE programs and events, renewing or updating membership, and making changes to contact information. As with any change it may take a visit or two to orient yourself to the new layout of the portal, but we think you’ll agree with us that it is more intuitive, user-friendly, and visually easier to navigate.
In addition to visiting our new website, please take a few minutes to log in to the new portal as a “First Time Log In” and update any of your contact information (including adding a second, alternate address), and updating your profile photo. Note that you must use the link in this email to log in for the first time. Your user name is the primary email address you used for our old website. Subsequent logins may be through the “Returning Log In” link on the website. Both log in buttons can be found along the top of the website’s home page.
We have prepared a FAQ document if you run into issues or have questions about how to navigate the new member portal.
We’ll be launching a new online member directory soon and adding these updates now will ensure your information is current when this launches. We hope you are as excited as we are about this change!
